You can try a separate hard drive or USB thumb drive.

If it doesn't work, try mounting the drive as "A:" by entering the following command:

subst a: F:\EXTERNAL\TO\QB45\INSTALL\

Try DOSBox (http://dosbox.sf.net/) to install it too.

When done, you can unmount your floppy drive with this command:

subst a: /d
