Would it be a good idea to modify this site so that a registered user who has uploaded programs could either edit or add to the explanation of the programs that were previously uploaded?

That would be the best for the site. I'm totally agree. Stop the bots!

I'll see what I can do to make that happen. Things have been slow around here and I've been trying my best to keep the spammers/bots at bay. To give you an idea, the ban list is around 800 with all of them being spammers. Luckily I've developed a couple heuristics to catch most of them and through the use of StopForumSpam.com I catch even more.

Anyway, I'll post about some new changes soon.

I added that functionality to QB45. An edit link will appear next to your files you uploaded and allows you to change the description and author information on files you uploaded.
