1. Usage of the Tools
There are 10 tools in version VGA10RX and VGABE163p4. To initialize a tool in RX you must click on the red button next too it and in BE just click on the button. For RX, If you have a computer of less than 350MHz than you might rub the button with the mouse pointer to verify that the tool is initialized. All the tools are adjustable in size and color. the little size button at the bottom may be tricky at first but the main trick to it is, first click on the button, second enter an amount under 150 (anything over is reset to 150), then be sure to press enter. If you accidentally type a letter in Kortix Paint will Jam. The smallest a tool can be is at 0. There is a second thing you need to know about for using the tools productively, and that is about the rainbow tool. See the rainbow tool changes the color every .08 seconds (based on computer speed) of the selected tool. To deactivate the rainbow tool you must click on a color. Again if your computer is a little slow you may have too rub the mouse pointer on the color to posotively verify that the color is selected. This should be enough for you to achieve a start.
2. QBasic Image DATA
Kortix Paint is based on the QBasic programming language and is made for QBasic programmers. When an image is saved by Kortix Paint it is saved into a .BAS file, which can be accessed by QBasic. This file is a precise execution of displaying the image which has been converted to the thousands of numbers in the code. That is what makes Kortix Paint significant, cause without it you would have to do an image like this or open it externally as a BMP. This also helps you keep others from modifying your logos etc.
This code is best used in game development or application development. If you have no experiene in QBasic then you must accept Kortix Paint as pure pleasure and non benificial. But it is kinda fun to mess around with. Not to mention it can run on a computer from way back in 1989.
